A Chorioangioma with Hydroamnios and Fetal Edema

Abstract

|
|
Chorioangioma is the most common primary benign tumor of the placenta and is associated with obstetric complication such as hydroamnios, toxemia, premature birth, fetal malformation, pre and postpartum bleeding, stillbirth, thrombocytopenia, and fetal edema, etc. The incidence of chorioangioma is higher than generally realized because of poor routine examination of the placenta. We have had an experience of a case of chorioangioma with hydroamnios and fetal edema and report the case with review of literatures briefly.
